Our Goal is to see our kids and children throughout our area have an opportunity to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

We put great value on investing in our children’s spiritual development and look to teach them the importance of understanding who Jesus is and how that can shape and impact their individual lives.

Our aim through One79 is to create an environment where our teenagers can develop friendships rooted in Christ. Challenged by the pressures of friends at school, distracted by the pull of social media, or caught up in the busyness of the day-to-day, a majority of teenagers today wrestle with depression, loneliness and anxiety. That is why this year we are investing in creating opportunities that not only deepen their faith, but cultivate lifelong relationships with other Christian teenagers.

This summer, one79 will be serving at Black Mountain Home, a ministry dedicated to providing Christ-centered care for children, youth, and young adults who need a stable, loving home. In September 2024, Hurricane Helene caused extensive damage to the Black Mountain area, including the destruction of several facilities at Black Mountain Home. Our team will assist in recovery efforts by helping rebuild and restore these structures, ensuring the Home can continue its mission of nurturing and supporting those in need. We’re honored to partner with this organization and contribute to the ongoing restoration of their community.
